On behalf of Girlguiding Sussex East it is our great pleasure to welcome you all to our website in this our centenary year.
100 years ago groups of girls gatecrashed a Boy Scout Rally at Crystal Palace and asked Robert Baden-Powell for ‘something for the girls’.
A 100 years on and girls are still involved in making sure they have friendship, excitement and fun as you will see through our pages. When you take a closer look you will see all that our Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section young members are up to.
There is so much going on in this our centenary year and we are pleased to be leading these girls and young women into the future.Maybe you would like to be a part of it.
A warm welcome awaits you in Sussex East and whatever your age, from 5 years upwards, we can offer you fun, friendship and laughter.
