More information about Brownies in East Sussex
There are over 2,200 Brownies in East Sussex. Any girl aged between seven and ten years old can become a Brownie. Because there are so many Brownie groups across East Sussex, from Brighton to Hastings, from Uckfield to Rye, there is bound to be one near you. To find out how your daughter can join contact us.
Being a Brownie is all about having loads of fun and a huge adventure!
Brownies take part in challenges and activities, and Brownies can earn badges. Brownie groups often go on holidays, camps or have sleepovers, for many girls this is their first time away from home.
Wherever you live in East Sussex: Eastbourne, Hastings, Brighton, St Leonards, Hove, Uckfield, Lewes Crowborough, Seaford, Forest Row, Wadhurst, Rye, Battle – there will be a Brownie group nearby.
If you’d like your daughter to join Brownies, why not join the fun too? We are always on the look out for new volunteers, because we have more girls wanting to join Brownies than we have spaces for.
