Picketts Wood Activity Days

Yet again the sun shone bright on the weekend of Picketts Wood Activity Days on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October. On Saturday we were joined by 130 Rainbows and Brownies, and 90 Guides and Senior Section descended on Picketts Wood on the Sunday. Activities included making jam dougnuts, chocolate bananas, raisin stuffed apples, quiz trails, orienteering, find the unnatural objects, apple tasting, fir cone bird feeders, bird boxes, bottle rockets, spider’s web, egg hurling, hot air balloons, and popcorn on a trangia. Some were just for each section and Senior Section members got to make their own bread and a chariot to carry each other round in. Everyone had a good day and a lot of fun was had by all.
