More about Girlguiding Sussex East leaders

Girlguiding Sussex East isn’t just for girls, it’s also for adults!  We are incredibly lucky to have hundreds of amazing volunteers across East Sussex; helping rainbows, brownies and guides to have fun, and having fun themselves.

All the adults involved in Girlguiding Sussex East are volunteers who give their time for free, many of whom have full time jobs and busy lives.  Because there are so many girls across East Sussex who want to become Rainbows, Guides or Brownies, Girlguiding Sussex East is always on look out for more volunteers.  Please get in touch to find out more about how to volunteer.

All Girlguiding Sussex East leaders, assistant leaders and helpers will have undergone training and police checks.  However, to start volunteering you don’t need any particular skills or experience; just lots of enthusiasm! Girlguiding Sussex East will provide all the training and support you need.  If you want to know more about Girlguiding UK qualifications and training available please don’t hesitate to contact us click here.

Whether you’re looking to make some new friends, to give something back or to learn some new skills, volunteering with Girlguiding Sussex East offers some amazing opportunities.  Leaders from East Sussex have sailed tall ships; performed on stage at the Brighton Centre; competed in stool ball competitions; travelled the world; and they’ve helped thousands of girls and young women to achieve their full potential.
