More about Senior Section and Young Leaders in East Sussex

The Senior Section is for young women aged 14 to 25. In Sussex East there are hundreds of members of the senior section, either members of Ranger groups or volunteering as Young Leaders. 

There are Ranger groups across East Sussex who meet regularly to enjoy exciting activities, opportunities and challenges.  Wherever you live in East Sussex: Eastbourne, Hastings, Brighton, Uckfield, Lewes, Battle, Rye or Hove, there will be a Ranger group near you.  Contact us to find out more.

We are really lucky in Girlguiding Sussex East to have an incredible bunch of Young Leaders who help with Rainbow, Brownie and Guide groups across the county. Volunteering as a Young Leader offers a huge variety of challenges and opportunities for personal development; it’s sure to impress colleges, universities and potential employers; but most of all… it is fun!

One of the things Girlguiding Sussex East Senior Section members enjoy most is the opportunity to travel abroad.  Senior Section and Young Leaders from across East Sussex have been all over the world, from Iceland to Barbados, from Japan to Switzerland.
